OBU學位申請攻略

3) An assessment of the potential impact of an aspect of impending legislation on the operations and financial position of an organisation.

4) A review of the business management and accounting issues of environmental costs of an organisation.

5) An evaluation of the use of short term and long term Islamic financial instruments and their impact on the financial statements of an organisation.

6) A critical review of key factors or indicators in the motivation of employees in an organisation.

7) A critical evaluation of the restructuring of an organisation's operational activities and the effect on the organisation's financial performance.

五、學位等級評定：

論文（RR）通過共有A，B，或C三個分數，論文的分數和該學員ACCA前九門平均成績綜合起來可確定該生學位的級別（見下圖）。牛津布魯克斯大學會計本科學位共有：First class， Upper second class， Lower second class， Third class等4個級別。決定這個RR是否通過的方面有：語言，溝通，分析是否深入，IT技術使用，參考資料使用及格式等方面。

六、論文提交方式：

通過網上提交的方式上傳，一年有兩次提交的機會，分別在五月和十一月。

七、國內學生寫論文的主要問題：

1.對國外論文格式要求不了解。多數同學都是首次寫英文論文，甚至首次寫論文，并不了解它的格式和要求。國外論文除了需要評審內容外，論文的格式包括參考文獻（reference）的使用和格式也是非常重要的評審標準。這種畢業(yè)論文不同于平時我們考試時的essay，它需要大量收集信息，并引用到文章中去。這部分也是導師需要給與更多指導的地方。

2.英語語言問題。雖然英語對于我們不是母語，評審老師也不會用英語為母語的標準來要求學員，但至少語言需要通順邏輯性強，結構清晰。很多同學的語言顯然達不到這個要求，需要導師在語言上給與指導。

3. 專業(yè)知識不熟悉。這篇畢業(yè)論文內容上需要結合ACCA很多課程的知識點，比如：F7，F9，P3等并把它應用到案例中去。很顯然，如果ACCA課程的知識只是了解一知半解是不能應用到案例中去的。所以學員應復習一下過去學過的知識點，做到能熟練應用。

4. 時間管理有問題。這是個本科的畢業(yè)論文，需要花費很長時間準備及寫作，所用時間因人而異，有的一兩個月，有的半年甚至一年。因為每個學員的語言，專業(yè)，工作經驗不同，所使用的時間是不同的。建議學員要提前準備，而且論文的質量和所花費時間一定是成正比的。有的學員英語基礎不好而且沒有工作經驗，如果花費足夠時間加上導師的輔導也可以取得不錯的成績。對于時間管理有問題的學員，導師應多提醒及促使他們在提交時間內完成任務。

八、導師怎么才能輔導學員通過論文：

1. 首先，導師需要給學生講解一下論文的選題，內容等，讓學員對論文的要求有個基本介紹。 當然，information pack 里的內容介紹的已經很詳細了，需要讓學員仔細閱讀information pack. 同時，要讓學員對自己完成論文的進度做一個估算。

2. 其次，充分利用學員跟導師的見面。牛津布魯斯大學要求導師在OBU的輔導中需要跟學生有3次見面，每次半小時。但學員的水平各異，對于基礎差的學員，我可能要輔導更多次，甚至10次。方式也可以多樣化，比如：電郵，電話，微信，聊天工具等。每次的輔導過程都要充分利用，提前閱讀好學員論文，要對學員的寫作問題提出建議，但導師只是起到輔助的作用，導師不能代替學員寫。

3.然后，要利用好presentation的時間。根據要求，學員在第3次見面時需要給導師做個15分鐘presentation. 導師要讓學員充分準備這個，因為通過presentation，學員能自己意識到自己論文中的問題，并且可以利用這個機會，能跟導師進一步討論論文的內容。
