動(dòng)車(chē)召回后中國(guó)縮減京滬高鐵車(chē)次(雙語(yǔ))

  China plans this week to cut service on its proud Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail link by a quarter as a manufacturer recalls its trains to test them, the latest setback for a problem-plagued rail system.

  隨著中國(guó)北車(chē)召回生產(chǎn)的部分列車(chē)進(jìn)行檢測(cè),中國(guó)計(jì)劃本周起將引以為豪的京滬高鐵的列車(chē)開(kāi)行數(shù)量減少四分之一。這是問(wèn)題重重的鐵路系統(tǒng)遇到的最新挫折。

  The recall of 54 CRH380BL rail cars, China's version of the bullet train, will cut high-speed rail service between the country's capital and the eastern industrial metropolis this week, official said.

  Less than two months since the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail system was inaugurated, service will be cut to 66 trains per day from over 88 now starting Aug. 16, according to newly published timetables. Scaling back of the vaunted service is the latest backtrack by the Ministry of Railways from its high-speed system since a deadly accident on the rails outside Wenzhou last month.

  根據(jù)最新發(fā)布的時(shí)刻表,從8月16起,京滬高鐵每天開(kāi)行的列車(chē)數(shù)量將由每天88對(duì)以上減少至66對(duì)。此時(shí)距離京滬高鐵開(kāi)通還不到兩個(gè)月。京滬高鐵一直受到大肆吹捧,此次削減列車(chē)開(kāi)行數(shù)量是自上個(gè)月溫州發(fā)生嚴(yán)重鐵路事故以來(lái)鐵道部在對(duì)待高速鐵路系統(tǒng)態(tài)度上的最新轉(zhuǎn)變。

  The recall, announced Friday by Beijing-based CNR Corp., follows the manufacturer's plans to delay a delivery valued around $1 billion of 17 additional CRH380BL trains to double-check their safety systems. The company hasn't indicated how long the checks might take.

  中國(guó)北車(chē)于上周五宣布了召回決定,此前還計(jì)劃推遲交運(yùn)價(jià)值約10億美元的另17列CRH380BL動(dòng)車(chē)組,以復(fù)查安全系統(tǒng)。中國(guó)北車(chē)未說(shuō)明檢查可能需要多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間。

  The CRH380BL wasn't involved in the July 23 collision near Wenzhou, but the recall reflects stepped attention by the government to safety that has also prompted the Ministry of Railways to pledge slower speeds, reduced ticket prices and new safety checks for rail lines. China's rail-equipment makers have seen shares fall and delayed fund-raising plans.

  Even before the Wenzhou accident, popularity of the line that could cut travel time to five hours between the two cities has been a question mark as travelers griped about ticket prices and glitches. Analysts say it is clear airlines are benefiting on the busy route.

  A CNR spokesman, Tan Xiaofeng, told state media over the weekend that among the systems that will be tested are sensors supplied by an unnamed foreign company that could cause the trains to stop. The CRH380BL, China's most advanced rail cars, is also used on a rail link between Shanghai and Nanjing.

  In a rare bit of supportive news for the Ministry of Railways, Chinese ratings agency Dagong Global Credit Rating Co., over the weekend defended its top, triple-A assessment of debt issued by the Ministry of Railways. It told the news agency Xinhua the ministry still enjoys strong government support.

  中國(guó)評(píng)級(jí)機(jī)構(gòu)大公國(guó)際資信評(píng)估有限公司上周末對(duì)鐵道部發(fā)行的最高AAA級(jí)債券評(píng)級(jí)進(jìn)行了辯護(hù),這是對(duì)鐵道部罕見(jiàn)的一個(gè)利好消息。大公對(duì)新華社說(shuō),鐵道部依然享有政府的強(qiáng)有力支持。

  Last week, after Standard & Poor's Corp. reduced its outlook for U.S. long-term debt securities, Dagong also downgraded its U.S. sovereign rating to single-A from single-A-plus.

  上周,標(biāo)準(zhǔn)普爾公司(Standard & Poor's Corp.)下調(diào)美國(guó)長(zhǎng)期國(guó)債評(píng)級(jí)展望后,大公也將美國(guó)主權(quán)債務(wù)評(píng)級(jí)從A+下調(diào)至A級(jí)。
